The heater is a device that in a short time increases the temperature of a room with a large volume which, for various reasons, is devoid of an operating heating system. Choosing the power of the heater, we can not forget the right choice of how to power it. What are the options we have?Heater - what is it?In principle, the heater resembles a heater, but with far greater efficiency. Unlike their smaller brothers, mainly powered by electricity, heaters can also use LPG, fuel oil, heating oil, hot water, pellets, coal, coke and natural gas. Thanks to this variety of ways of feeding we are not dependent on only one source of power - electricity - and we can successfully increase the temperature of the autumn, family meeting outdoors or under a spacious garden tent.Heaters are also used in workplaces where continuous heating has no economic justification. Examples are churches, factory halls, commodity stores, farm buildings, multi-storey garages, greenhouses, workshops and factories. Another function we can use with a heater is to dry the newly built buildings, which shortens the time required for the construction site. The most common types of heaterElectric heaterMost common among devices of this type. Its appearance differs from heaters equipped with other fuels because it resembles a larger portable gas furnace. When choosing such a heater, remember to bring it to the power source. Take into account also the appropriate quality of the casing, which allows to move the working device without disconnecting from the power source or even cooling down. Like the other heaters, the electric model is equipped with a thermostat that maintains a constant temperature, a heating controller and a switch off sensor when overheating.Gas heaterIt can be used only in well ventilated, airy places, which is caused by the presence of water vapor as one (along with carbon dioxide) from the effects of gas burning. Such a device should have a built-in gas anti-condensation detector that will stop the heater from running if it unclogs the pipe connecting it to the gas tank. Equipped with a plastic flexible hose and reducer, it is immediately ready to be connected to a standard 11 liter propane-butane gas cylinder.Oil heaterThis device should be equipped with a fuel gauge, made of stainless steel combustion chamber and automatically cut off the ignition. Air heating is done by means of a heat exchanger (exchanger heaters) or by a flame of fuel (non-heaters). In the latter case, the heated air stream contains exhaust gases. To make the air ejected is healthier, it is necessary to use a closed combustion chamber located in the exchanger.
