Alfa Laval wins SEK 125 million food order in Brazil
Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order to supply a process solution for a soybean oil refining plant in Brazil. The order has a value of approximately SEK 125 million. It was booked late June in the Food Systems unit of the Food & Water Division, with deliveries scheduled for 2018.
The Alfa Laval process solution includes various pieces of equipment such as high speed separators and heat exchangers which will be installed in a plant where soybeans will be refined to consumer oils. The order also includes a service agreement.
“I am very pleased to announce this large order from one of the biggest agribusiness cooperatives in Latin America,” says Nish Patel, President of the Food & Water Division. “Our proven technology is reliable and efficient and meet the high demands from customers in the food industry.”
