Hillphoenix Adds NXTCOLD® Low-Charge Ammonia System to Natural Refrigerants Portfolio
CONYERS, GA – 9/26/2017 — Hillphoenix announces the addition of NXTCOLD® ultra-low charge ammonia systems to its industrial refrigeration portfolio providing a unique extension to its industry-leading natural refrigerant product offerings.
NXTCOLD combines the benefits of ammonia with a revolutionary technology that reduces the size of the refrigerant charge and is ideal for cooler, freezer and blast freezer applications. This patented technology is available now to Hillphoenix industrial refrigeration customers in North America and Latin America.

NXTCOLD’s ultra-low ammonia charge of 6 to 8 oz. per ton is the lowest charge ammonia refrigeration solution available for large refrigeration facilities. As a result, it is not subject to the same extensive regulatory mandates as large ammonia charge systems. The units are delivered preassembled after undergoing rigorous quality control inspections at Hillphoenix. This attention to every detail results in less complicated installation and startup than traditional industrial systems.
