Nortek Global HVAC Announces Improvements to F-Series Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps

St. Louis, June 29, 2017 – Nortek Global HVAC has improved the design of its F-series air conditioners and heat pumps. The F-series models feature an all-new jacket design that makes service simpler for the contractor and is available in Broan® , Frigidaire® , NuTone® and Westinghouse® (with P-series models available in Maytag® ).

“We redesigned these units with contractors in mind,” says Tim Alford, product manager at Nortek Global HVAC. “We conducted several research events with contractors at our headquarters and in the field, which led to all our new jacket improvements.”

The new jacket design features:

A redesigned cabinet for faster, easier servicing.
New corner posts and crown top pan.
Easily removable panels for quicker access from all sides.
Extruded screw holes to hold panels tight and prevent stripping.
More holes in the base pan for better drainage.
The redesigned F-series units also simplify installations. The new models are light and compact, so they are easier to ship, easier to haul to the job and easier to get into place on the jobsite.
