SPX Mobile Display Trailer Highlights Marley® Cooling Tower Component Advantages
SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc., a full-line, full-service industry leader in the design and manufacture of evaporative and air-cooled heat exchangers, has outfitted an 18-foot mobile trailer with displays of field-erected cooling tower components. The mobile trailer features several Marley innovations, including the new M Series Geareducer®, Comp-DS Driveshaft, HP 7000 Fan and a broad range of heat transfer fill types.
Visitors to the trailer can see the quality and design of Marley components compared with other OEM versions in side-by-side hands-on displays. The mobile trailer also includes scaled-down cross sections of Marley F400 counterflow and F600 crossflow towers to illustrate design and component differences of each tower type.
The SPX trailer will be parked at the outside display area during the 2017 Southern Company Generation Technical Conference from Aug. 22-24, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Alabama. Later in the month, the trailer will travel to the Duke Energy Fossil/Hydro Technical User Groups and Vendor Expo, August 29-30, at Embassy Suites in Concord, North Carolina.
SPX representatives will be on hand to demonstrate the benefits of Marley components for field-erected cooling towers. In addition to the trailer, find SPX at booth 1223A at Southern Company and booth 6 at Duke.
