SPX Cooling Technologies to Showcase Innovative Cooling Technologies at Global Cold Chain Expo
SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc., a full-line, full-service industry leader in the design and manufacture of cooling towers and other specialized heat exchangers, announces that it will showcase its Cube™ Evaporative Condenser, Recold® LC Evaporative Condenser, and Recold Vector™ Adiabatic Cooling System at the Global Cold Chain Expo, taking place June 13-15, 2017, in Chicago. SPX Cooling Technologies will co-exhibit in Booth #5229 with SGS Refrigeration, Inc., which collaboratively issued the Cube to industrial refrigeration markets.
The Cube Evaporative Condenser Series includes a broad range of forced draft and induced draft evaporative condenser models designed to address customer needs for high quality components and construction, responsive service and quick and easy installation.
Also featured in the booth will be the Recold LC Evaporative Condenser, which features a unique design that reduces refrigerant charge by up to 40 percent and lowers fan energy consumption by up to 50 percent, compared to conventional evaporative condensers. Well-suited for condensing halogenated refrigerants in supermarket refrigeration systems, small refrigerated warehouses and modular HVAC applications, the Recold LC is an induced-draft counterflow system that incorporates patent-pending heat transfer technology and single-piece installation.
Show attendees will also be able to discuss the Recold Vector Adiabatic Cooling System for halocarbon refrigerant condensing or CO2 gas cooling applications in supermarket refrigeration systems. The Recold Vector provides lower energy usage and a smaller footprint than an air-cooled condenser and up to 60 percent or more reduction in site water usage compared to an evaporative condenser. The Recold Vector Adiabatic Cooling System's highly-engineered metered water distribution system minimizes water treatment requirements.
